Valerie's sketch challenge

Valerie Salmon is one of the ladies that participates at scrapbookaddict.com. She's incredibly talented. She has a sketch site (click here) and recently on scrapbookaddict issued a challenge for layouts based on her sketches that I decided to participate in. I used Sketch 5 and changed it to a 2 page layout by doing a mirror image on the second page. Since I don't have a small circle stamp, I used ribbon on the sides. I used my "Whale of a punch" circle punch to cut the circles from Die Cuts with a view patterned paper. These pictures are from my senior year in high school.

Danielle, I'm glad you are playing along. I like your 2-page version. :)

Cute, Danielle! You sound like you're doing what I did. I went back to our dating days and started my family album from baby photos of us, dating, proms, etc., up to the time when we had our boys. Fun!

I've actually done an album thast just has pictures relating to my childhood up to the point we got married. Since dh and I dated since I was a sophomore in high school (the last month of that year), he is going to show up in a lot of the later teenage year pictures. Since they were in my possession as a teenager, they go in my book : )
